As I sit here this evening, trying to lay focus on what should (I use the term loosely) be my priority right now, I find my self a little stuck. Keeping up with regular research and daily contributions to this site, has proven to be a little more effort than initially planned. Again, I am sitting here trying desperately to catch up, with a nice whiskey and Coke (that’s Gentleman Jack and Diet Coke folks), a little Stargate Universe on the television and my annoyed girlfriend trying to watch the show and only hearing my typing. I just wanted to share with all of you that I was recently contacted by the creator of The Lash spiced rum and Voyant Chai. He has graciously offered to send me a sample bottle of his products. I plan to put together a list of cocktail recipes that require spiced rum and review them using his product. I will also (obviously) give a nice straight up taste test. It has now officially been 5 months since Today’s Drinker took off. I wanted to thank all of you readers for actively reading the blog. Thanks to my wonderful girlfriend for being active in commenting. We have gone from two regular visitors to around 90 daily visitors. A few hundred views per day, I guess that proves I am getting the movement out there. For those of you who haven’t gotten it, the movement is to create a new excuse/celebration/holiday for every day of the year.
