Drink once:
- when Gertie screams.
- every time you see Peter Coyote.
- every time you can spot Debra Winger in E.T.’s voice.
- every time you see a bicycle.
- every time John Williams tries pulling at your heartstrings. Drink twice if you get goosebumps.
- every time the issue of divorce comes up.
- every time you see a dead frog.
- every time you see a Yoda costume.
- every time E.T. blows his cover in that ghost costume.
- if E.T.’s finger glows. Drink twice if it’s his heart.
- every time E.T. shoots up heroin. Drink twice if it’s Gertie.
- every time E.T. falls over.
- every time you see a spaceship.
Drink twice:
- when Elliot screams.
- for a product endorsement (Reese’s Pieces, Speak N’ Spell, Budweiser).
- every time a bicycle starts levitating.
- every time somebody cusses.
Drink three times:
- when the older brother screams.
- when E.T. dies.
- for every levitating bicycle with a basket on it.
Chug your beer:
- when Mom screams.
- when E.T. pulls a cool Budweiser out of the fridge.
- when E.T. is drunk.
- when E.T. comes back to life.
Finish your beer:
- when E.T. calls his home planet a cesspool.
- before the mom closes the closet in the scene with the stuffed animals. If she closes it, you must drink your partner’s warm beer.
